Who is the Southcentral Outdoors for Youth

SOUTHCENTRAL OUTDOORS for YOUTH is comprised of sportsman and sportswomen in Adams and Cumberland Counties who host two Youth Field Days FREE OF CHARGE for hundreds of young people. The program offers the opportunity for area youth to experience archery, fishing, target, clay bird and black powder shooting, fly tying, predator calling, trapping and other outdoor activities. Our sole mission is to: Introduce youth to wholesome legitimate, life-long, outdoor recreational activities. Instill in youth a relationship to the land and the great outdoors. Introduce youth to our natural resources, and to be responsible stewards of our natural resources. The South Central Outdoors for Youth program is backed by both The Pennsylvania Game Commission and The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission along with other outdoor associations and individuals in our area. |
